The Music Kafe
In 2011 whilst living in Brisbane, I spent an evening documenting a small bar in the popular suburb of West End, before it closed for business soon after. The Music Kafe was known for its 'blackboard nights' of free live music, from local and traveling musicians.
Re-using the unused
Whilst living in Brisbane, Australia I was able to document the work of staff at Kelly's Wrecking in the suburb of Stranthpine. The objective of this task was to photograph the environment and daily operation of this automotive wrecking yard to see what sort of characters still make use of this business.
Greenskeepers
At the end of 2012 I was able to document the work of greenskeepers at Royal Canberra Golf Club, as they worked towards preparing the 27-hole golf course in the prestigious suburb of Yarralumla, prior to the Woman's Pro Golf tournament; one of many events associated with the Centenary of Canberra celebrations.
Hang-gliders
In 2014 I spent time with members of the Canberra Hang-gliding Club, as they satisfied their joy for this most purest form of flight above Lake George.
Centenary of Canberra
In 2013 I was commissioned to documented a number of events being run within Canberra, to help celebrate 100 years of Australia's unique capital city.
